ASHLEY WILLIAMS (AUCHEY)Star Stepper Alumni
Ashley Auchey was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and graduated in 2008. Following her time at Vista Ridge, Ashley attended Texas State University where she was a Strutter for four years. During her time at Texas State, she was a member of the Jazz Elite performance squad, served as a Lieutenant for two years on Strutters, and minored in Dance Education. Ashley is now the Head Dance Director for the Leander High School Blue Belles and Sapphires.
GABBY WENDT (AZIOS)Star Stepper Alumni
Gabby Azios was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her senior year. Gabby graduated from Vista Ridge in 2015 and headed straight to Kilgore College to be a Rangerette for two years. During her time at Kilgore, Gabby was a Swingster and her sophomore year served as the Right End Lieutenant. She was also a member of Kilgore’s Modern dance troupe, the Industry Dance Company. Following her time at Kilgore College, Gabby auditioned and made the TCU Showgirls Dance team where she was a member for 2 years and served as a Co. Captain.
JOSIE FLORES-VIVASStar Stepper Alumni
Josie Flores-Vivas was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, two-year officer, and served as 1st Lieutenant her Senior year. Josie graduated in 2018 and went on to study at The University of Texas at Austin, where she joined the student run dance company, Roustabouts. On Roustabouts she performed in various dance pieces at campus events, at local dance competitions, and their end of year spring show.
REGAN FRUGÉStar Stepper Alumni
Regan Frugé was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and two year 2nd Lieutenant. Regan graduated from Vista Ridge in 2015 and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the pre-professional program at the Theater Arts Preparatory School. During her time in Las Vegas, Regan has had extensive training in dancing, singing and acting under professions such as Helene Phillips, Don Bellamy, and Don Mirault. She performed for Joey Doucett Entertainment in Las Vegas where she accepted a one-year contract with Fred Astaire Dance Studios to professionally compete and teach ballroom dance.
MEGHAN HOPPERStar Stepper Alumni
Meghan Hopper was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and graduated in 2013. Following her time at Vista Ridge, Meghan attended Texas State University where she was a Strutter for three-years. During her time at Texas State, Meghan was a member of the Division 1 Strutters Pom Squad and held a Social Officer Position for two years.
KAITLYN KELLYStar Stepper Alumni
Kaitlyn Kelly was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and graduated in 2016. Following her time at Vista Ridge, Kaitlyn headed straight to Kilgore College to be a Rangerette for two years.
MIAH LAPEYROLERIEStar Stepper Alumni
Miah Lapeyrolerie was a three-year member of the Star Steppers Dance Team, one-year 2nd Lieutenant, and served as 1st Lieutenant her senior year. Miah graduated in 2017 and moved to Pennsylvania to major in Dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
KATHERINE MELITOStar Stepper Alumni
Katherine Melito was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her junior and senior years. Katherine graduated from Vista Ridge in 2017 and attended the University of Texas at Austin while being a member of the UT Pom Squad all 4 years and held the position of Co. Captain.
LYDIA PARNELLStar Stepper Alumni
Lydia Parnell was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her senior year. Lydia graduated from Vista Ridge in 2018 and moved to Fort Worth where she majored in dance at Texas Christian University. Lydia Parnell graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance from Texas Christian University where she was also a member of the Chi Tau Epsilon Dance Honors Society. During her time in the School for Classical and Contemporary Dance at TCU, Parnell was featured in Telisu’s Music Video, Heart Thief as well as Suki John’s short film, The Sh’ma Project. She is also a proud company member of B. Moore Dance. Parnell has been choreographing and teaching in the DFW area and is a certified Power Yoga/ Sculpt Teacher at CorePower Yoga. Lydia has recently completed two contracts onboard Royal Caribbean as a featured dancer.
MADISON RAUSCHUBERStar Stepper Alumni
Madison Rauschuber was a three-year member for the Star Steppers and a Company Leader her Senior year. Madison graduated from Vista Ridge in 2017 and headed straight to Texas State University where where she graduated in 2021 with a BFA in Dance Education. She is now the Assistant Director at Judson High School.
SHELBY RAUSCHUBERStar Stepper Alumni
Shelby was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and held the position of 1st Lieutenant in her senior year. After graduating from Vista Ridge, she moved to San Marcos Texas to be a part of the Strutters Dance Team. Shelby was a Strutter for 4 years and held the position of Line Officer. While at Texas State, she performed with the Strutters at Texas State football games at Bobcat Stadium, Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, TXST home basketball games, seasonal Strutter shows, SMA Dance Competition, Disney World Florida, Costa Rica and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
SARAH ROJAS-BOMAStar Stepper Alumni
Sarah was a three-year member of Star Steppers and held the position of Head Company Leader. She graduated in 2019 and moved to Denton Texas where she became a member of the North Texas Dancers at the University of North Texas where she was a member for 4 years. Sarah has had the opportunity to perform at multiple Division 1 football, volleyball, and basketball games in the Denton/Dallas area. Sarah was also a member of the program’s jazz team where she was able to compete in Division 1A jazz against colleges all around the US.
BRITTNEY SPENCEStar Stepper Alumni
Brittney Spence was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her senior year. Following graduation from Vista Ridge in 2011, Brittney attended UNT and was a North Texas Dancer from 2012-2014.
JULIANNE WAYStar Stepper Alumni
Julianne Way was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her senior year. Following graduation from Vista Ridge in 2013, Julianne attended Texas State University and was a Strutter for four years. During her time at Texas State, she was a three-year Officer and held the position of Captain her senior year. Julianne was also a member of the Jazz Elite Performance Squad and Division 1 Strutters Pom Squad. Julianne graduated from Texas State with a BFA in Dance Education and is now the Assistant Director of the Star Steppers at Vista Ridge.
EMILY ANTONStar Stepper Alumni
Emily Anton was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and served as 1st Lieutenant her senior year. Emily graduated from Vista Ridge in 2015 then went on to major in dance at Texas A&M. During her training, Emily’s choreography was chosen to represent A&M at The American College Dance Association. After graduating in 2020, Emily worked with the professional company, Mei/Co. Dance, as a choreographer and dancer, and was the Director of Company AbunDance from the studio Suzanne’s School of Dance, where she was also the Modern and Contemporary teacher. Emily has since moved back to Austin and is a freelance choreographer and has performed with various ensemble groups in the area
SAMANTHA BASTINStar Stepper Alumni
Samantha Bastin was a three year member for the Star Steppers and served as Company Leader her junior year and 2nd Lieutenant her senior year. After graduating from Vista Ridge in 2021, she moved to College Station where she currently attends Texas A&M University. Samantha is currently a member of the Dance Arts Society where she has the opportunity to choreograph dances, perform in shows, and attend master classes.
MOLLIE PRATTStar Stepper Alumni
Mollie Pratt was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, and held the position of Company Leader her senior year. She graduated from Vista Ridge in 2018 and went on to study at Texas A&M University in College Station. While there, she joined the student run dance organization Dance Arts Society. She has choreographed and performed multiple dance pieces in Dance Arts Society’s fall and spring shows, as well as taught master classes for the organization.
ALISHA KHATWANIStar Stepper Alumni
Alisha Khatwani was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and held the position of Captain her senior year. Following graduation from Vista Ridge in 2021, Alisha moved to New York City to attend New York University (NYU) to obtain her BFA in dance from Tisch School of the Arts. During her time in NYC, she has trained under prestigious dancers within the field including: Limon,Gallim, Sidra Bell, Gibney, Dragon Sisters, David Dorphman, Evidence Dance co., Komoco Dance and Doug Varone. She has been featured in Gallim and Kyle Abraham Reperitoire pieces as well as having her chorography showcased in various shows. Alisha had the unique opportunity to study abroad in Berlin with the B12 dance program for two summers during her college journey. Alisha graduated from NYU in May of 2024 and is currently dancing professionally in the industry.
KAITLIN MARKSStar Stepper Alumni
Kaitlin Marks was a three-year member of the Star Steppers, a two-year officer, and served as First Lieutenant her senior year. Since graduating from Vista in 2023, Kaitlin has been attending the University of Alabama and is currently a sophomore majoring in Psychology with minors in Nutrition and Italian. While attending Alabama, Kaitlin’s passion for dance and community service led her to join a non-profit organization called Dance Alabama! Throughout her freshman year, she continued to choreograph pieces, perform in shows, and volunteer within the Tuscaloosa community. Within Dance Alabama! Kaitlin is a part of the executive board, serving as the 2024-2025 Philanthropy Chair, which works closely with their Philanthropy, Arts n’ Autism.
ALEX URBANCICStar Stepper Alumni
Alex Urbancic was a three-year member of the Star Steppers and served as a lieutenant her senior year. She graduated in 2022 where she then moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University where she is currently working towards her BFA in Dance Education. Alex is also a member of two professional teams- the Elektrolytes Hip-Hop Company and the Lux Contemporary Company through Elektro Dance Academy. Through both Arizona State and these performance companies, Alex has had the opportunity to perform in many shows and compete at large competitions with teams from around the world.
